Financial Analyst

August Clarke is working with a reputable business in Southampton in their search for a Financial Analyst to provide maternity cover. The contract is working as part of an established finance team, supporting the operational side of the company. Key responsibilities will include; Daily analysis of financial information Providing commentary for any account variances Producing monthly reports for management Monthly forecasting and re-forecasting Review of annual budgets with team manager Assisting with improvements for the reporting and planning controls Processing invoices as required Liaising with operational and finance team We are looking for a candidate with proficient Excel and data manipulation skill with experience in an accounting role. Ideally suited to someone at Assistant Management Accountant / Financial Analyst level. Effective communication skills are a must. Candidates should be available at short notice and willing to commit to the full duration of this 9 month contract.
