August Clarke are supporting a Basingstoke-based client who are hiring an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their established financial services company. This proactive position will ensure day-to-day financial functions by providing efficient and comprehensive support to finance reporting teams.
What will the role involve?

Processing a range of financial transactions

Bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation

Preparation of VAT returns

Assisting with preparation of management accounts

Assisting with preparation annual accounts
What experience is required:
-
Previous accounts experience in a busy finance environment

Strong communication skills
-
Business or accounting related degree / Studying towards a professional accounting qualification

Financial services experience would be beneficial
