Finance Administrator

North Baddesley - Temporary

£23,000 Per Year


Working with an independent business who have recently expanded their operations. Initially offered as a 6-month contract, my client is looking to recruit a Finance Administrator who will contribute to the efficient and effective running of their business as part of their central accounts team. Your responsibilities will include;

  • Producing customer invoices in line with company procedures in a timely manner.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and preparing supplier invoices for payment in line with credit terms.
  • Preparing and checking employee and contractor expense claims in line with company policy, ready for authorisation and payment.
  • Reconciliation of paperwork for quarterly VAT returns.

Candidates must be organised and able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and imperative along with the ability to be flexible, professional and polite. Some relevant experience and/or qualifications are required.

Key responsibilities would include:

  • Processing supplier payments
  • Handling and managing all cash transactions
  • Processing invoices and bank reconciliations
  • Updating accounting records
  • Liaising with suppliers and handling queries.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous accounting experience, 2 years or more. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail is required.
