The Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day financial operations within the organization. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while providing sound financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and accounting standards
- Managing the general ledger and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
- Final review and amendments of management accounts
- Managing audit processes and liaising with external auditors
- Overseeing the wider team and providing support and mentoring
- Supporting ad-hoc finance projects and providing strategic financial insights
- Liaising directly with clients

Skills & Experience Required:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience in financial services or a similar regulated industry preferred
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
