Finance Manager

A newly created opportunity to join a growing SME group of companies with 40 million turnover with offices in Ringwood, Hampshire. Taking the lead of the delivery of consolidated management accounts for the group. As Finance Manager you will support the CFO in ensuring successful delivery of financial objectives;

  • Preparing monthly budget monitoring reports showing spend, budgets and variances
  • Liaising with senior stakeholders to deliver a consolidated budget and forecast
  • Taking responsibility for coordinating and preparing accurate monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts
  • Preparation of the annual statutory accounts
  • Providing financial analysis and other support as required to the CFO
  • Build and maintain relations with key partners and works collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Oversee the day to day collaboration and output of the Finance department.
  • Ability to demonstrate commercial acumen and communicate well with operational management
  • Highly IT literate, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Sage Line 50 experience is desirable.

Desirable Skills and Expertise;

  • Qualified ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA is preferred, experience of management accounting is essential.
  • Experience in engaging with various stakeholders including senior management.
  • Leading and working within small teams to meet tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, self-motivating approach to work, with a collegiate, collaborative and consistent attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills including in person, in writing and over the telephone with individuals, and with both financial and non-financial staff.
