An excellent opportunity has arisen for a recently qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant with 2-3 years PQE to join a growing group of companies as a Group Accountant. This is a hands-on, development-focused role that offers exposure to group-level reporting, financial analysis, and strategic support—ideal for someone looking to build a well-rounded finance career.
Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Group CFO, you’ll play a key part in the production of financial reports, supporting decision-making across multiple entities, and driving improvements in financial systems and controls.
Key responsibilities:

Preparation and consolidation of group financial and management accounts

Monthly reporting, forecasting, and trend analysis

Cash flow management and reporting

Supporting budgeting and planning processes across group companies

Liaising with auditors and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS)

Supporting IT and finance system improvements

Identifying process enhancements and cost-efficiency opportunities

Providing insights and financial information to senior leadership

Oversight of financial controls leading junior team members
This role would suit a recently qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) looking to step into a group-level role with variety, responsibility, and the chance to contribute beyond the numbers.
You’ll bring:

Strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally including IFRS

High-level Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus

Proactive mindset with the confidence to work independently and suggest improvements

Good communication skills and the ability to present financial data clearly
-
Some prior experience leading or mentoring a team.

Knowledge of contract or project-based accounting (desirable but not essential)
