Basingstoke, Hampshire | Reporting to: Group Financial Controller

Are you a qualified or near-qualified accountant looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a fast-growing and dynamic business, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their UK finance team in a role offering real responsibility, variety, and progression.

The Role

You’ll play a key part in the day-to-day financial operations of the group, including:

• Managing the nominal and sales ledgers

• Bank reconciliations, purchase ledger, and WIP reporting

• Supporting monthly management accounts and financial reporting

• Monitoring aged debt and supporting cash flow

• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, statutory accounts, tax, and audits

• Managing intercompany reconciliations

About You

• ACA / ACCA finalist or qualified (1–2 years PQE preferred)

• Strong Excel and general ledger experience

• Solid understanding of financial reporting

• Proactive, organised, and confident working in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communicator who works well across teams
